砺波平野を見下ろした時に、そこに広がる散居村と周辺の山々の雄大な風景に心奪われました。この作品は、水田に遠くの山脈が映り込み反転して見える風景をイメージして制作しています。慌ただしい世の中において、自然に思いを馳せる行為は精神的な安らぎをもたらすものであり、人間と自然環境とのバランスが崩れている現代において、人と自然とが穏やかに共存しているこの場所の在り方は一つの希望と言えるのではないでしょうか。

When I looked down on the Tonami Plain, I was fascinated by the grand scenery of the scattered villages and the surrounding magnificent mountains. This work is created with the image of a landscape in which the mountains in the distance are reflected in the paddy fields and appear to be reversed. In a busy world of today where the balance between humans and the natural environment has collapsed, the act of thinking about nature brings peace of mind and the way this place where humans and nature coexist peacefully can be said to be a hope.
