「Living Together」

自分は動物を彫るのが好きで、もちろん動物が好きなのですが、現在は野生動物と人との距離が近くなりすぎて野生動物による農業被害、人身事故など人間の暮らしを脅かすようになってきているので駆除とかでなく野生動物と人間が適切な関係になるように自然環境保護も含め共生できる未来になると良いなと思い、富山県に居る野生動物と子供が仲良くしている作品を彫りました。

I like to carve animals, and of course I like animals, but now the distance between wild animals and people is getting too close, and it is becoming a threat to human life, such as agricultural damage caused by wild animals and personal injury. I thought it would be nice to have a future where people could coexist with nature, including protection of the natural environment, instead of exterminating wild animals so I carved a work of a child getting along with a wild animal in Toyama Prefecture.
