「A messenger from the sky」

龍は水の神とみなされるため、特に水を求める遊牧民であるモンゴル人にとっては大切なものである。私は様々な動物の形を作るが、近年における主なモチーフは龍である。それは、現在、人間の欲望が環境問題や紛争、地球温暖化などを引き起こしているからである。それゆえ、自分の作品を通して紛争をしずめることを願い、自然と人間の豊かさを希求する。その思いをこの龍に込めた。

Dragons are considered the gods of water. It is especially important for Mongolian nomads who are seeking the water. I make various animal shapes, and in the recent years the main motif for my works is a dragon. This is because human desires are causing natural environmental problems, conflicts and global warming. Therefore, I hope to subside the conflict, and wish for the richness of nature and humans through my work, so I put these feelings in my dragon.
