この彫刻では、雪など過酷な気候に耐える松の姿、人々が困難に直面し、紆余曲折する姿を表現しています。そして、この彫刻の中に、私たちは微妙なバランスを見い出すことができます。 またこの彫刻は人と人、集団としての人との関わりを象徴しています。私たちは人としてそれぞれの道を歩んでいかなくてはいけません。しかしその始まりと終わりは皆、同じ場所にあるのです。

This sculpture has several meanings: like mountain pine trees affected by snow and harsh weather, people must change their course in the face of challenges. In this way we are able to find balance. The sculpture also symbolizes the relationship between people or groups of people. We must find a way to walk our separate paths in balance, because as people, we begin and end at the same place.
