「Consideration for Legs」

傾向としては素材をなるべく生のまま提示し、例えば全体の重力とそれに反発する何かといったようなバランスの感覚をいつも大事にしています。そして、作品が持つ内在する力とそれを取り囲む空間といったことも絶えず考えます。 また、木材の他に土などの異素材のコンビネーションは、木の性質を改めて考え直すことになるだろうし、それらの異素材が持つカラー（特質や色も含めて）同志との比較をすることにもなるでしょう。 こんな、私にとっての作品をつくるプロセスを、鑑賞する時の参考にして頂ければと思います。

It is important for me to make good use of this material by showing a balance between gravitation and repulsion. I always think there is energy both inside a work and in the space around it. The use of both wood and soil requires me to rethink the character and quality of both wood and soil. I hope the process of my working will help you to see my work.
